The collection continues through the mid-to-late 1990s.
Byte magazine started publishing in late 1975 and quickly became one of the premier small (personal) computer monthlies on the market. The earliest issues were very hardware and software centric while later issues tended more towards product reviews than down-to-the-register technical topics. Even so, various Byte columns still kept the technical torch alight.

Does anyone know where I can find early issues of Byte as computer readable files. I have some of the later issues on CD. I subscribed from nearly the beginning, but no longer have those issues. I really miss reading the articles from the beginning of personal computers. Thanks.

In the mid 80's Byte covered a postal workers meeting in NYC. In an address given by the head of the local, there was a proposal for regulating email. I would love to obtain a copy of his remarks (if only the part about email).

Greetings!
How would we go about getting copies of old Byte magazines?
We would specifically like to obtain (or simply access) issues from August 1983 through December 1984, or there abouts. We're looking for various adds from specialist hw/sw vendors during that period.
Thank you much!
