Pro-Files Magazine was originally started as a Kaypro User's Magazine. Eventually it expanded to cover a broader swath of the CP/M market and became "The Tutorial Magazine for Microcomputer Users" before returning to its Kaypro roots.

I'd be interested in any additional information and missing issues of this publication.

I have the following ProFiles issues 8/86, 5/87, 8/87, 8/88, 9/88

My magazine collection use to be fairly complete back to around 1984, but when my Kaypro IV failed to boot may years ago I gave up, got an IBM compatible and thinned out my old stuff. Recently I have been using CP/M-86 on Virtual-PC 2007 and have been wishing I had some of those old issues back. I would love to see the old Z- system issue again (12/85). I installed ZCPR on my Kaypro along with a few hardware mods (20Mb HD, CPU turbo, clock, turboROM, VT-52 video board).

Erik,

Any long term plans to scan them and make them availble to others ?

Since Micro Cornucopia is not available, this would be a great asset.

All the best - great website - always something new !

I post under GADFRAN - Kaypro Guy !

Frank
