With ALL the cyber history from this part of the world there would be some North Eastern "techno geeks" who want to revisit their illustrious past!

IBM from New York..Elmira, White Plains/Armonk, Yorktown and many other places around that state!

Unisys from Malvern PA and places scattered aroung Pa and NJ

Masscomp..from MASS

All those 128 Cambrigde Mass companies..Prime Computer, Computer Vision, DEC...

Apollo (Before HP killed them)

Hey guys...wake up! There has to be litterally tons of that stuff around somewhere. Go find some and bring them back to life! You might find both fun and closure there....as our bones become less tolerant of the physicsl things we once did.

Hi, new semi-local guy.

You are not alone! There are many vintage computer collectors around the Boston and DC areas.

For those who live in-between, there is MARCH (Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists) ... we're a non-profit founded in early 2005. We have a Yahoo discussion group mostly for people living in the scalene triangle between DC - Hartford - Pittsburgh. And, we have our own bricks-and-mortar computer museum, located on the NJ shore. We also host the annual Vintage Computer Festival East. (This year's edition will be Sept. 13-14 at said museum.)

Come on over to www.midatlanticretro.org to check us out (web site is primitive but it gets the message across; you can link over to our Yahoo group from there).
