Hello Friends
I've got an IBM PC 5150. The machine has the 256 kB board with memory card and a total of 512 kB ROM, 2 full-heigh floppyes, a monochrome video card with monochrome monitor (IBM 5151) and of course no hard disk.
The computer works fine and the PC-Diagnostic 2.02 don't report any faults.
But, while booting there is no memory-count-up. There is only a blinking underline while the computer is booting.
My Question: Is it normal for the IBM 5150 PC not counting-up the memory on system start or is it a fault?
Btw: My IBM XT 5160 is counting-up the memory.
Thanks for helping and greetz from Switzerland.
