My call sign is Ka2sjy and my fathers is Kc2oc.
I remember going to one of the early computer fests (80 or 81) in NJ and meeting a ton of other operators.
My Dad used the apple alot back then for stuff and eventually we migrated to the C64 at one time for Packet radio.

Hello,
My father is 2e0ltj in the UK, and I help him with his computer related stuff (including the design and maintenance of the http://www.2e0ltj.co.uk website.)

Just check out my site name...
We have a very big hamfest here in Augusta NJ every year. I work the vendor gate and we have about 1,000 visitors every year.

I wish I had a ham radio and was certified. I used to have a ham radio(unknown if it worked) but I sold it for $88 on eBay. I'd like to get another. How big on an antennae does one need to have, and what are the basics for physical requirements(location, weather conditions...)?

Not a Ham but I do enjoy going to the Hamfest in the area. I do have Ham software for the apple II/IIgs.
BTW here is the HamFest locator URL. Just set it for your state.

I've had my ticket since 1985. Been mostly inactive until last year, when a co-worker talked me into doing Field Day with his radio club. Was only gonna work 20 QSOs. Instead, stayed up all night to rack up 100 QSOs. I'm currently building a QRP CW transceiver kit into an Altoids tin.

Call is (of course) WD0DBS. Had my ticket since 1977. Active sporatically. Been into computers just as long. Mostly on 2m. Been working Field day the last 3-4 years. I keep the 10pm to 7am shift going. Field day station is W0cet/K0ham. Usually 3a KS.

I got my license at age 13, but when the 10-year renewal came up several years ago, I let it lapse due to inactivity. I'm still interested in radio, but now more from a broadcasting perspective.
