Had quite a therapy session today. I reorganized my shed (the place where I keep all my computers)...
While I was at it I took a couple of pictures of the Commodore-section of my collection:

This is all the boxed Commdore-computers (and pongs) I own. I have som more loose computers and some boxed accessories, but they will have to wait for another day...

Nice collection of Commodore computers, Zeela!
I have to admit, there are several in your collection I had never heard of until I looked at your pictures!

There will be more pictures of my collection later on.
I'm in the process of taking pictures of everything for insurance reasons.
Check out what I have done so far at my collection site:

Interesting website Zeela. I always enjoy browsing other's collections and in particular reading about their motivation for computer collecting.
Your site introduced me to a new range of computers I'd never heard of. The Luxor series. After seeing it on your site I googled the models and learned a lot more about them.
History seems full of locally-produced computers that were popular in their country of origin, but never acheived world-wide fame. They played a big role in computer literacy for that particular country though.

I thought this myself! You can't get away, it's so addicting. Kinda like ST's... But Commodores are just too fun.

WOW. I have never seen such a collection of boxed computers and programs. I have trouble convincing myself to retain even the newer parts of my computer programs and accessaries packaging, much less where to keep it should I elect to do so.
With the dearth of packaging I most times put it into the garbage, And since the major part of my collection came from curbside, Dumpster, yardsale or thrift stores, that was rarely an option. I even have problems keeping the packaging of my power tools. I am just not the sort of person to save boxes even tho I now have room to do so. Usually when I get a new toy the boxes are just in the way. Guess I'm just too lazy to put it bvack in the box it came in.
I'm obviously not of the mind of a true collector. A friend of mine who's an accountant even keeps the packages his envelopes come in and totally baffles me. My mother was Danish, perhaps that's a scandinavian Dane/Swede difference. "^)
But later acquired or not, your collection IS truly impressive. Museum quality.

My wifes comments in parenthesis. ;) I must only get boxed computer, unless it's a really rare computer that is really hard to find boxed. Her reason for this deal is that boxed computers are easily stored in a neat way and cost more so I won't buy as many as would otherwise...

Your wife is a wise woman, since they're probably more likely to appreciate in boxes. But here's an opportunity for someone to make counterfeit boxes for folks in your position... ;-)

A Commodore pong unit?! :o I was completely unaware that they ever made one of those. I had no idea about the Web TV type device either.
That's quite the nice collection you have there. Sure wish I could get one of those Enterprise 128's off of you. ;)

As far as I know, Commodore made two Pong consoles. You can read more about them here:

Regarding the Enterprises, one of them might be up for trade/sale... I really don't need two of them. ;)

Thanks for the link. That's quite fascinating. I will also send you a PM concerning the Enterprise.
