Let me first tell you that I'm very glad I can read these forums. So many people collecting and preserving computers...
My interest in computers goes back to the mid 80s when I received my first Mac Plus from my grandmother. I still have all the computers I worked with but I do not collect other computers because I live in a small house and I'm not a computertechnician.
I'm more interested in the way the computer was used in the past century and how it had influenced the life of many people, in the sense of economical, sociological and all the other ways.
For years now I'm collecting all kinds of information about computers (especially old computer books and ephemerae). This data is structured in a database and the site tries to highlight and show some interesting pieces of information.
I'm always looking for (printed) material about computers, especially computers made in Europe,
Thanks and happy reading!
