View Full Version : Altair 680 Bare PCB Giveaway

A few months ago I gave a set of Altair 680 prototype boards to someone. He doesn't like the 6800, instead he likes the 8080.
These PCBs have NO silkscreen or soldermask. Nothing will come with them.
I thought these PCBs should go to a good home.
Someone who has electronics experience, debugging ability, etc. I'd prefer a student or someone who wouldn't be able to afford a kit.
I think I'll make Erik choose who gets it since he knows you guys better. :)

If he is inclined, I nominate BillDeg.
Isn't he the one gathering up stuff to show at school he teaches at?
Can't beat that - besides, I don;t want AJ distracted from the Z80 project...

Terry, Tony, Grant,
Thanks for the nod, I appreciate. Grant made it pretty clear he was intending it for a student or the like. Besides, Tony is right, with work going the way it is lately I am pretty well maxed out with one project at a time.
Jeff has the PCB routing on one of his servers and it is grinding away as we speak. I also have it working at home so we should be seeing a new PCB version in the next few days.
Thanks!

Bill's a good candidate too. I just thought of Andrew because he does so well at documenting all his projects for the rest of us to enjoy.

thanks for the nomination. I will give this directly to a student if it comes my way, but I concede to anyone who has a more pressing need.
