Hello. My name is Trevor, I'm 17 and I live in Minnesota. I'm not old enough to have been part of the demoscene, but I do have a passion for vintage computers and chiptune/SIDtunes. My first computer was a Commodore 64 my dad gave me when I was about 4. I've been messing around with ever since. I've decided though that I'd like to try to program and compose music, so I've been asking around my town for old computers. so far I've had very little luck, but I'll keep looking, and probably post a want ad in the marketplace.

Anyway yeah... thats about it.

Welcome! Maybe you can get a part-time job, and get some cash to spend on eBay and other auction sites and FS advertisments? There are plenty of vintage computers out there, just that nobody in your town may have a stack in the basement to give away. There may even be some friendly people on a site like this who will have something common to offer for free to anyone (i.e. you) who pays shipping.

I'm having the same problem: Noone I know has old computers, and german ebay only has common one's like the 64 or Atari ST's (which were kinda successfull in western germany).
Oh wait, one of my teachers has a Toshiba T1000, but he doesn't want to give it to me ^^
