That is odd. He wants it so bad he bid on and AND has 24 sniping bots bidding too.

24 sniping bots, eh? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. One sniping bot bids then 23 of the others bid, and suddenly there is a huge bidding war...

Seriouslym I wonder what's up with that? Maybe he is just in cahoots with the seller and wants to make it look like a coveted item, and thus put plenty of bids on it. Still, it isn't physically possible for 25 people to bid against eachother on eBay and it remain at $1.99, even if it started at 1 cent. So if that is the case, it wasn't a well thought-out plan...

It means he has upped his own bid multiple times. If you go back and re-bid on an item that you are the current high bidder on, it doesn't increase your CURRENT bid, only your maximum.

It's an anti-sniper defense. But, based on the fact that the bids are all mere seconds apart from each other, I think it was a boo-boo.

Well, why don't you bite and try to outbid him? :-P It is almost worth $5 + shipping $14 for the fun to see how high the bid has been raised.

It's not productive or appropriate to complain about pricing or shipping irregularities on eBay. This has been a problem with more than a few threads, and it's getting to the point where the moderators are just going to start deleting threads.
