Now this is one we can all afford, lol...
Only wants a starting bid of $250,000.00.
Ebay Item number: 110252328536
You are bidding on a Univac 1218 computer. This is the militarized version of the Univac 418. It is a 19 inch rack about 6 feet high, 24 in square, and weighs around 775 lbs. Click HERE to see the Wikipedia entry on this machine.
I don't know a lot about this type of thing, so I took a lot of photos. The last two photos are a randomly selected circuit board, which has a date stamp of May 1964, so I suppose it was built around then. It appears complete and in good shape, although it may not be Y2K compliant. I'm not too hot to sell it just yet, but I would like some more info on it. Thus the high (to me, anyway) starting price. But if you want it real bad, feel free to bid. Shipping would be by motor freight, or you could come and pick it up.
And you have to pay for shipping too!!!
