HI
Does any body have a 2764 ROM for sale with just a simple ram
write and read test for the 0 bank on a 64k XT clone.
I want to uses it to replace the BIOS ROM so that the board will
enter a ram test on boot.
Ive got a board that fails on ram and I need to have a continious
test running to pinpoint the prob. I've replaced the ram, and
all the RAS,CAS,WE, ADD, DATA, look ok. It may be a timing prob.
as some bits sometimes pass.
If you have can you get in touch.

I usually go on E-bay when I need anything like that.

it might be cheaper and less difficult to just order a huge bag of replacement RAM chips for it and change them all out. i imagine something like what you're asking for would be next to impossible to find... one way i guess would be to get an EEPROM writer and make your own little test prog in ASM.

I've changed all the memory with know good ones already.
It may come to trying to blow an eprom but my programming is so
rusty I just hoped somebody had tried this approach before.
Thanks anyway.
