Hi,

just a quick question.. didn't know where to put it.. is this particular PC worth the 22 EUR asking price? It doesn't come with original IBM keyboard or mouse. Thanks!

So I guess $1US is $.6EUR so that's under $22US. It's not really collectible I don't think but sure I'd say that's worth it if you want it. The keyboard and monitor should be generically easy to find (generic ps/2 keyboard found about anywhere, monitor would likely be regular VGA CRT). Not sure how much those cost where you are, but you could probably craigslist or surplus shop the keyboard and CRT for another $10.

Actually, it's the other way around. 22 EUR is about $33. So I guess it's not worth it. Thanks anyways.

lol ok, so I was a little sleepy when I did that. Either way, it's worth what you think it's worth. If you're paying shipping it may be a little high, if you're picking it up and want a 486 for some reason it's all relative to your pocket book. I'm comfortable buying computers under $40 without much care. Getting closer to $100 and I have to consider what I'm getting, above that it needs to be a collectible system I care about and hard to find or one I've been looking to get for a while.

Collecting doesn't always make sense.. some systems have sentimental value and I'd pay more for some because of how much I want them vs actual worth over others.
