Hello,
I was given a Toshiba T1600 laptop, I believe it was produced in 1988. The laptop power LED's would light up however the machine wouldnt turn on. It came with the original carry case and two removerable front batteries. I oppend the machine up to see if I could isolate the problem and found that the battery used to boot the system was all crusty, so I removed the battery from the system beliving that I may be able to aquire a replacement, however they are more money than I would like to spend on fixing the machine, the battery removed looked like 4 AAA batteries wrapped in yellow plastic, connected to the power board via 2 cables. Apart from that the machine is in perfect condition and ways a ton, the power LED's still light up when connecting to the mains.
My questions are:
How much is it worth?
Any one have any other knowledge regarding the machine as I know very little about it?
Wheres the best place to sell it?
