I have boxes and boxes of vintage sound, video, I/O cards...etc. Some are fairly easy to identify, however some are just dam near impossible to figure out.
I have a lot of 8 & 16 bit items.
So...anyone have any good links for identifying these things?
I already have a nice bookmark folder of links, I can always use more.

Just the th99 archive online:
http://th99.too.it/
Its sorted to type and connector, has outline pictures of the cards and you can vide by company name or picture.
If you cannot identify something post a picture here and somebody will know what it is.

If they have an FCC ID# try that. Most, if not all older cards should have one.

Yup, that did the trick. I found I have a Western Digital WD1003-WA2 Winchester/floppie disk controller for an IBM AT XT 16 bit, in real nice condition and it's a full height, full length card, revision 0. It's from one of several boxes I have to go through. Dam, I just love Freecycle!!!

Its just one of the many mirrors online, and happened to come up 1st and working when I looked.
I downloaded the archive a long time ago (some site had a single file you could expand and use locally), comes in handy but there are plenty of oddball stuff not in it.
