Hi,
iŽm looking for a way to copy downloadable files to my sirius (running under DOS).
Serial connection is working but i have no terminal or transfer software on my sirius..... Sending files by a dos machine will be no problem, but how can i receive it on the sirius?

regards,
Christian

You could try: COPY <filename> COM1. ( I don't recall clearly, this might only work for text files.)

Alternately, if you have the BASIC manual for the V9K, there's a small program listing in it for Q&D file transfer, that might get you started.

Sending Files from the PC will be no Problem
with the /b option.
But the Sirius doesnŽt receive files this way.

I hope IŽll find the listing, Ill search today evening.

I could be mistaken (although it's never happened before). Mebbe you should look through the DOS manual and/or the Owner's Manual, it's there in the docs somewhere (I've used it...crude but effective)...
