My PC, had been acting slower lately,a nd I discovered my daughter had dled a bunch of smilies for her chat. Is there an easy way to remove them all at once, because naturally she can't remember wha she saved to where.... :roll:

The smiles probably aren't slowing anything down substantially but she may have added some spyware with the smiles. . .

I'd suggest SpyCop (www.spycop.com) or something like it to see what you might have gumming up the works.

After that, defrag your HD and see if that improves anything.

You can also see about removing startup/system tray applications to free up some more memory and resources.

His download installs all these, the runs a script to run above programs sequentially. Its for the paranoid around us :)

I tried it and had no probs, but it'll be probably overkill...
