My requirement is kind of tricky. It can be with or without CPU, but set up for an Intel DX/4-100. The CPU I plan to use in it I already have, but if it comes with one, so much the better.

Gotta be one of those newer combo PCI/VLB motherboards. And have a good battery in it.
It would be nice if it had serial/parallel/floppy on-board, but it's not all that important.

If willing to sell one that fits this, please PM me.

I'm also on the look-out for another 386-DX 33MHz Intel mobo, with FPU.

ISA, PCI, VLB and on-board I/O all on the same board? Did such boards exist?
Oops - coulda sworn that said ISA; where'd it go...

Anyway, I'll dig around...

LOL....NO, the I/O is only an option - I can find cards later on. They did make some (saw them in California way back) but not many before the Pentium became king. But I know that PCI/VLB combo boards do exist. heh

And thanks for taking the time. :)

Well, if nobody else has one, I've got a Socket 3 (AMD 5x86 installed with that sexy "Designed for Windows 95" legend) board with 1x VLB, 3 PCI and 4 ISA, 2xserial, parallel, floppy and 2xIDE. Takes SIMMs or DIMMs.

Not a full-sized AT board, however, just a "Baby AT". The battery was good the last time I checked, but can be replaced (it's just a lithium coin cell).

Do you know the make and model right off hand? That way I can look up the specifics.

Mainly after the physical layout, so I can be sure the board will fit.

Looks to be this one (http://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/P/PC-WARE-INTERNATIONAL-INC-486-MB-U88IVIPIM.html) Lotsa jumpers and a UMC chipset. Size is about 8.7x10 inches.

If that one looks like I think it does, I believe it will fit in the case. But one question. If it is the board, do you have the cache module that goes with it?

Yup--contains 8x MCM6306DJ15B 32Kx8 SRAM, which, according to my calculations, makes it a 128K module.

I have a PCI/VLB motherboard as well if that one is not what you need.

I should clarify. The case I am going to put it in is a 7-slot AT case, rather than 8-slot. That's why I have to be careful of the measurements & layout. Chucks will fit if I'm guessing right, but I confess I'm curious and would like to see a few to pick from. Beggars can't be choosers especially with rare things, but I need to make sure, then have something to fall back on just in case. Truth be told, I may actually get two - one to add to my collection and one to use regularly.
