View Full Version : QBASIC libraries needed - adlib i/o libraries

well, i had an idea of making a MIDI player in qbasic that's light enough to run on an 8088, but first i need some programming libraries to let me address the sound card using adlib i/o... anyone know of any good libraries or sites that i can go to?

also, this is a call to all qbasic nerds that reside on these forums, so anyone who knows qbasic (version 4.5) is welcome to help me.

and this is kind of an advanced project for me too, so ANY help would be welcomed.

this isn't really off-topic, could have def. gone in the vintage software section. :)

like i was telling you in IRC, i don't really know of any actual LIBRARIES for this but here is some source demonstrating how to access an adlib card:
