Shift key for Commodore Pet 4016

The left shift key is missing from my Pet. Anyone have a spare they can sell me ? Just the cap not the actual key switch.

Must be a 40 series design flaw as my 4032 is missing the left shift keycap as well (plus the keyswitch for the spacebar is defective) but, I should be getting both parts ANY TIME NOW.

Leaknoil: I can probably get you a loose Shift keycap for postage costs. Please send me a PM with some location information (USA, Canada, Europe, Asia etc) and I can calculate the actual costs. Actually, filling in state and country in your profile is very helpful on general basis as not everyone live in the same country or even part of the world.

Ooo, NOS keyboards! Except - I noticed the 8000 series isn't listed. That mean what I think it means, doesn't work in a 8032? I would want "the business" type keyboard.

For those 8000 series machines, you'll have to do with used keyboards. Are you lacking something particular or just looking around to put together the best possible machine?

That's interesting. Is there a physical difference between the 4000 and 8000 keyboards or are they just electrically incompatible?

If I understand correctly, there are 4000 series machines with the business keyboard as well. Perhaps those are the "Fat 40" ones.
