Hi,

In my search for an external CD ROM for my 386, I picked up a MicroSolutions BackPack CD-RW drive that hooks up via the parallel port. Unfortunately it did not come with a power supply and uses some kind of 5 pin connector.

I don't know if this drive works and I won't be able to find out until I can get a hold of a power supply for it. If you happen to have a spare or know where I can find one, I'm in the market for one, because I really need some kind of external CD ROM for my 386 so I don't have to remove the 5.25" drive.

The backpack drive is model 190130

hmm, my model # is 194215. I would bet the power supply is the sane.

Thank you for the PS model number! I scored one on eBay for under $10 after shipping. Now I just have to wait for it to get here. Hopefully the drive in the backpack works.
