The one on my spare AT has apparently fried, so I'd like to take some leads on any card that might replace it. The original one is a full-size ISA card and has "©1983" and some other stuff along the bottom of the card.

While I'm asking, does anyone know if a Goldstar ISA IDE controller card can work in those old legacy IBM's? If so I think I'll slap a 160MB IDE in it instead, just to get it working. If so, are there any special jumper settings on the card I need to make?

I have a couple of those (from genuine IBM ATs), plus several clones based on
WD chips.

An IDE I/O card works fine in a 286, you just have to find
CMOS parameters that will work with that drive.

I have a Western Digital one that came out of a duplicate PC.

Let me know if you're still interested.
