Hi,
I recently acquired a pair of Xerox 6085's which were the next version of the Xerox Star 8010 systems.
I am looking for copies or originals of any hardware, maintenance, technical documents/owners manuals and possibly any media.

I've got a few PDFs and a handful of disk images for a couple of versions of XDE - I can FTP them over to you if you've got any netspace? Alternatively you could set up a temporary xDrive?
Also, check out my site - http://www.apearson.f2s.com - I'm slowly HTMLising the Mesa Course with links to all the files it references - lots of Mesa source code there, plus some of the system BCDs and development tools.
Drop me a line and we'll sort out a way of getting what I have to you. It's not much, but with the scarcity of Xerox documentation it's way better than nothing.
BTW have you seen "bitsavers"? Lots of manuals there - the Xerox stuff is quite heavily biased towards the Alto, but there are some useful 6085 docs in there, not least the field service manual:
