TRS-80 Model I Video

I’ve got a TRS-80 Mod 1 with a bad display. There is a horizontal scan line in the center of the screen but no vertical sweep.

Is anyone familiar enough with these displays to give me repair hints? Failing that, does anyone have a working one lying around that they’d part with?

Find an old television tech ...

If you explain the situation they'll be able to find what's broken on the vertical retrace. They just have to ignore the computer stuff around it.

It's possible that they'll diagnose it as the signal generator circuit on the computer side - it might be putting out a bad signal.
