Hi, im new here.

I was just given an Olivetti L1 M40 DP Mini Computer.
Does anyone know anything about these machines.

I bought two months ago such a computer, in working condition. These were rare machines sold as a package with specialized software for architects and road or sewage building (I got mine from a bureau specializing in sewage pipe calculations and building). Has an Olivetti specific MDOS with Basic. Is somewhat akward to use. I have no instruction manual, but one or two 8" system diskettes.

Well, mine came with 2 PSU's but neither work properly. Do you know the ratings of the PSU's?

It also came with an 8" disk drive and an Olivettti HD (a huge 10+ pounder)

So would you call this a mini computer or what? I'm not sure what to call it?
