If I remember correctly, a lot of the IBM chips were (are?) blue. At least it is how I remember disassembling RS/6000 desktop systems.

I'm just taking a wild guess, based on the words 'Pallette DAC' screened on the chip.

Duh, I took the picture, I know its a video card. I just didn't know what the chip was. There is a bigger chip above it I thought was the GPU. maybe it has 2 for all I know....
