Wanted PS/2 model 30 286 board

I'd like to get hold of a PS/2 model 30 286 board to interchange with the 8086 board that I have now. I have won 2 on Ebay and been stiffed by what turned out to be the same seller twice.

Yes, I'm interested in the board/riser drives and plastic pieces. I'm pretty much one-deep on machines right now, but we might be able to work out a trade. I've got a bunch of old MFM (I think) drives and some other 8 bit PC stuff sitting around.

Sorry about not getting back sooner....but this "Work Thing" keeps screwin up my weeks....I have a spare unit...So I'll run it up this weekend and make sure it works OK. I'll take a couple pics of it and I can send them to you via email so you can check there were both "On the same machine", and we can go from there.

IS the back of your board flat? or does it have a cutout on it?I can't tell from the pic, the riser card and adapter card are in the way.

Damn...whoever put that machine together was serious....anyways.....check out NEW PICS(labeled,286-1 etc)and advise..... I checked machine out before I took it apart...ran fine...3076 k of ram...woohooo....let me know...

forgot to mention...video jack is still on case...but It can go with it....just forgot about it.

Crap! the case appears just slightly different! I'm not sure that it would fit in my 8086 case. The 8086 board Has a cutout making the back of the board L-shaped.

Then again the whole 286 board appears recessed. What would you want for the motherboard, RAM, ISA riser, brown plastic rear bezel and any other small parts you might decide to generously throw in?

Interesting question...If you came to my door and asked me for one...and I had it out...Id give it to you for a few bucks.....

Us crazy canucks arnt to money hungary and in the spirit of "Old Computers"....you can have it for shipping. If it works for you Im glad to be of assistance.If not...Well...we will have tried....

I cant ship COD over the 49th so If you want it you'll have to send me $$$$ and I'll ship it...no problems.

According to the Post Office here it will cost about 10-15$ to send it snail mail... as long as its no more than 2 pounds....So,The MB is only 9 inchs by 12 inchs and doesnt weigh very much so Im sure I could pack it in one of those bubble envelopes with all the other things....those bags that size only cast a buck or 2. If this works out for you may be able to help me out with something sometime.

So,Send me $20 (and full address)to cover shipping and I'll bag it up securely and send it on its way.

286 Motherboard and attachments left for Florida this morning.....Via snail mail..... I packed it on the assumption that they'd be throwing them out of the plane/truck/bus or whatever, when they get there. Im sure package will servive. The US Postal Service can not be any worse than the Canadian version.
