View Full Version : Commodore SX-64 Keyboard cable.

I need a Commodore SX-64 keyboard cable. I have no idea what they look like, but item will be here soon, and I got it without the cable, seller didn't have it.
IF my memory serves me right, it uses some kind of wierd db25 right?
If anyone has any, or any ideas, please PM me.

In an issue of Retrotimes, the keyboard cable was referred to as 21-pin. I believe it is a typo, or that some of the 25 pins are not connect. It is also said that a fully connected 25 pin serial cable should work, perhaps after a bit of physical modding ("sawing off the ears") to fit the connector. Also look in Google Groups etc. There are a lot of threads on the subject.

I have tons of 25 pin serials, will give it a try, thanks. I need to break in my new pocket knife anyhow.
