I'm looking for ANY Exidy Sorcerer software and original documentation. I'm particularly interested in the BASIC cartridge or any of the other cartridges, though with limited interest in the word processor pac. Any help would be appreciated. Will buy or trade. Thanks!

I've got a Sorcerer with the S-100 chassis but the only docs I have are a technical manual I purchased on eBay a few months back.
I don't have a single cart or any other software either.

The one I'm likely getting for an ugodly sum ($600) has the computer, dual disk drives and S-100 expansion unit. I know the documentation is online for the most part and the built-in monitor allows you to load in machine language software (a few samples are online that can be loaded in from the cassette port), but there's not much out there. I figure I'll bite the bullet since I wanted both a Sorcerer and an S-100 machine anyway, but I'm not so sure this will be a challenge I'll be able to meet (doing things through the monitor is not very user friendly). I'd prefer either the BASIC or Development Pac to get more use out of it, but it's going to be very difficult to find.
I was trying to win this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8795330468&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1
But it went for well over $200 US! Insane!
I wish someone could create a cartridge or two or there was some other way to load in BASIC.
How do you use it with the S-100 chassis, Erik? Anything interesting?

FWIW, the monitor was supposedly modeled after the monitor of the SOL-20, so most of the SOL's (single-letter) commands work pretty much the same on the Sorcerer.

Absolutely no idea yet. . . :(

Sadly, the seller ended up wanting $600 PLUS Shipping and Handling from the Netherlands for that setup, so most likely it's a no-go if he won't agree to a straights $600 (I had offered $500 and he countered with $600). $600 was tough to swallow, but $700+ would be impossible, particularly with no software. If anything changes, I'll let you guys know. Also, if anyone might be interested in that rig, let me know, but I just don't see how it adds up unless you're in the NL...

And yet the Netherlands is one of the cheaper countries in Europe to ship from, it seems. Dimitri chose to ship the packages from the Netherlands rather than Belgium because it was cheaper. I have checked Swedish post office, and they're even most costly in most cases.
