The next OVGE will be August 19 in Tulsa. I'll post the location when I know for sure.

All kinds of retro game systems will be displayed. Many of the participants will have game systems, games and accessories for sale.

I'm thinking about having a Dimension 68000 on display, too. While not really a game system, it is definitely retro.

Early indications are that an Altair will be displayed/demonstrated.

Hey Kent, it was great seeing you again and getting a chance to talk to you at the show! I'm looking forward to next year's event already!

Likewise, Rob. For the next show I'm thinking about putting together a low-end system (Pentium 120 or somesuch) with a bunch of DOS games on it. Been going through my floppies and I have a ton of old games.

It's unfortunate that the Altair didn't stir much interest. I suppose that's mainly because most of the folks there didn't know what it was. It occurred to me afterwards that a simple game like 23 sticks may have been more interesting to some people than the Star Trek text game. Also, I think that most of 'em didn't realize that they were looking at a dumb terminal attached to the Altair.
