Most people here would already know about this place, but I wanted to post a link on it anyways for those that don't.

It uses the old software that this forum went from, but to me it's all about content. I wish atari in the USA would get together with these guys, as well as the atariage forums. They talk mostly about the 16/32 atari computers.

That'd be right. Perhaps they should call it the Inforgrammes
site!

I wonder if Curt's registered there? I thought atariage had ideas, these guys have the zeal of soccer fans.

and none for sale on ebay. The link in the same thread above had it for over $600! That was the winning bid. Holy crap, talk about yard sale gold if you can find it. That's as much as a new dell pc!

I think a site dedicated to one brand is too vague really.
Oh well.

there seems to be quite a bit of activity. The fact that a late 80s model could command such a price...similar to Amiga types...there must be considerable interest.

The Atari Falcon was released late 1992, early 1993 (in different markets). The earlier Atari ST and Mega systems are not a fraction as expensive, neither most bog-standard Amigas.
A site dedicated to one brand means it is more likely all users and experts of that system will hang around. Better expertise, quicker answers, more detailed discussions. Maybe less chit-chat as well, but it depends largely on the community as a whole.

I'd love to see a Falcon-like machine released by Atari. Imagine, Falcon Flashback. Sweet. I know there's been debate over at atariage about releasing a computer to a small audience like the atari one, but I'd sure get one.

Sure they had ideas after dumping some machines in the process
- followed by some pointless machines which leaves the earlier
machines high & dry (of but of course we're not dealing with
the same company here).
