Just a tad annoying.

Perhaps I'm just asking for a little bit of trouble - but if
it's more trouble than what it's worth to fix it - don't
bother.

I've just found in Forums which use the vBulletin skin which
have large threads - you know 8 or 9 pages long to be a bit
clumbersome. Okay it gives you some options 1,2,3..last page -
trouble is if I click page 3 & the things 9 pages long - you
have to go though. If I click last page - last page starts up,
but some new posts were posted in page 8 & of course if you
click backwards it doesn't light them up.

If I vagerally recall there was a Goto Page - unfortunately
you have to know which page you were last on - you have to go
into the thread to find out & of course if you go back it
unselects those new messages too.

If there's a way to easily include the page before the last
page - that'd be good.

I agree, but there's no easy fix that I'm aware of.

There will be a new version of the software at some point fairly soon. Hopefully they've fixed that for us! :)

Okay, clicking on one of the first 3 pages & then use the go
to feature to go to the page before the last one seems to work
without interfering where the new posts start. You can see how
many pages there are anyway.
