i recently bought a TRS-80 Model 100 Portable Computer
in working condition

i never used a computer other than apple, macintosh and neXt
it will be a new experience

I own two Model 100's, a 102 and a 200. I used to own a Model 100 "back in the day". I think I bought it in 1985, and kept it until the early 90's. Then I got stupid and sold it, along with all my software and attachments! They are great little computers, as long as you understand their limitations.

In fact, I was recently lamenting the need for a more modern version of the 100, running some Linux distro. It could be done, I'm just too lazy ;-)
