it's ebay time

i won a Epson HX-20, in working condition

downloaded already the manuals and specifications

i shall have to learn working with it

You are at the right place! At least 5 of us own a PX-8 now and the 20 ain't much different. I cut my teeth on CP/M as did a few here.

Looks like you picked the silver European version. It's a bit harder to find, at least on the U. S. side of the pond.

Bzzzt! Big difference...both nice machines though (and a few here use the HX-20 too). Pm me for info on software for it (games, etc.).

hehe, just cuz the 20 has a printer?? PX-8 has wider screen, that is true.

Different hardware, different software, etc...

The HX-20 runs BASIC on a pair of 6301s, while the main CPU of the PX-8 is a Z80 (backed up by a 6301 & a 7508 sub-CPU), running CP/M.

yes, it's a german keyboard (qwertz) and the european model
