Hi, i have an original mattel aquarius in the box, in pretty much mint condition including the manuals and a book by ian sinclair.
I heard that less than 18,000 of these were sold worldwide and they were only on sale for around 4 months at the beginning of 1983.
the initial failure of the Aquarius was such that it was discontinued almost as soon as it hit store shelves ("One of the shortest lifespans of any computer" (April '85 issue of COMPUTE! magazine).
It boots to a microsoft basic interface and is complete with the basic keyboard overlay (often lost) and in pretty much unused condition. there is no fading, sun bleaching or wear whatsoever. I can email a picture if anyone's interested.
Im trying to clear my student loan and im wondering if anyone on here wants to buy it?
