Wow, looks like "one" can login even after that account has been banned. "Something new every day".

Those guy's will never give up. They probably have a cult or something for spamming all sort's of forum's and sight's.

They can log in, but thats it. They cannot do anything at all, the software locks down the account after one of us bans someone. So they might show up as online, but thats all.

Yes, I figured it was a "read only" kind of account. I was just surprised that it would still allow "login".

I don't think they actually log in. If I'm looking at the "Who's Online List" It shows me your username BEFORE you log in, so they may not actually be logged in all the way. Kinda like a gost type thing I guess. The important thing is they can't do anything, so no more spamming for them.

Wouldn't the people who spammed just make another account and spam again and again and so on?

They usually don't. In that case, we would use an IP ban...

My guess is that the software doesn't allow an account to be created from the same IP?
