Does anyone know what kind of power supply in voltage and amps this portable requires. it has this weird looking plug that looks like (see attached pic)

Looks like a 110, right? IIRC, it's 8v., 1a., AC (mine's in storage right now, so I can't check).

thanx, i didn't want to risk putting 240v in it. i now kno what transformer 2 go n purchace.
