Hi all,

This isn't official yet, but we're aiming for Saturday, May 19 next year. We might add Sunday, May 20 as well, but that won't be decided anytime soon. Location is the same as East 3.0 was this year: the InfoAge Science Center
(infoage.org) in Wall Township, N.J.

We considered having the East event on the same weekend as VCF Europa, and having inter-VCF things such as IRC terminals and videocasts, but unfortunately it didn't work out because of some other BIG news that I can't
announce right now but might within a couple of weeks. :-)

PS - I posted here instead of in the regional subforums so people will actually see it. :)

This just in: we picked Saturday, June 9, and (probably) Sunday, June 10 as well. Hopefully we will determine the need for a second day soon.

Someone, somewhere, will probably have a graduation-related conflict. To that person(s), I apologize, but we did our best.

East 3.0 was awesome, but I guarantee that East 4.0 will kick 3's ass!!

Hopefully, by June, I'll be living in New Orleans, still out of range, I'm afraid. Are there any plans in the works for a future VCF South?

VCF South has been discussed informally for years, but nobody ever stepped forward who is willing and qualified to organize it. It needs to be someone with lots of time, deep understanding of the vintage computing hobby, lots of show management experience, and who can get along with Sellam. :)
