Hi,
Do any cards exist that can read eproms directly? The reason is I want to see if I can adjust such a card to read SEGA Genesis/Megadrive cartridges to add a "true" cartridge slot to my computer =)
Thanks in advance!

Coupling your cartridge directly to the bus? There is at least one 8-bit XT card I have seen that just held EPROMs and/or NVRAM modules. To exist in the address space of the system there is a few bytes of header information at the start of the EPROM layout, best to get a copy of "Undocumented PC" by Frank Van Gilluwe (ISBN 0-201-62277-7) and go to Chapter 5 "Adapter Card Development".
