I need help. I'm searching for datasheet, timing information, anything on the Intel 1404A 1K shift register memory. This is circa 1970. If anybody has the data sheet for this, let me know. Thanks for your help.

At least two companies released their own versions of the chip:
AMD
---
AM1404A
Basic specs at www.datasheets.org.uk
www.datasheets.org.uk lists the S2504TA as similar to the AM1404A.
Microsystems International Limited
----------------------------------
MF1404A

Yes, I've seen those, thank you. Unfortunately they tell nothing engineering wise about the way the IC functions. For example, there are two clock inputs, 1 data input and 1 data output. The data goes in and data comes out in a timed order. Data sheets would show how the chip does this in a timed relation.
