Can anyone make sure I got this right?

all right im comparing voltages and timing waveforms for a z80a and a 62256LP-12 SRAM and they seem compatible.Can anyone verify this please.I dont want to spend the extra money if it isnt compatible.Do amps in the crcuit really count?I dont spend on running the computer all day long.

Yes the Z80a and 62256 will go together nicely. I use them with minimal decoding logic (we discussed this).

The only thing you have to worry about with Amps is how much your power supply can stand (say 100mA for a 78L05 regulator, 1A for a 7805) and how much your circuit draws (look at the datasheet).
