Thanks for the warning, my computer freezes up on pop-ups.

If it's no trouble, how about posting the easter eggs in here,
at least this site doesn't do that! :-)

I dunno 'bout that, it's a pretty big database...over 6000 listings. Mebbe I cn just grab a few of the best ones to post here.

OK, so I've posted a few in various places on this bb. Here's another one that seemed p'ticular kewl. (I've had a few Mach 32 video cards and never knew 'bout this). Unfortunatly I don't have one now, so I can't check it out myself.

Requires: Early ATI Mach32 Diagnostic Software
Easter Egg: One of the developers got bored and added
an Easter Egg into the graphics diagnostic
utility for the Mach32. Part was removed
in later releases, but it was still functional.
Call up the diagnostic, with a mouse driver.
Hold down both shift keys, and click the
mouse button 13 times. This will access
the developer credit list and nicknames
(in very early versions -- was found and
removed), *and* change the diagnostic
cursor sets to more amusing ones.

This one has not been found in 8 years,
so I am leaking it.

Oh well, I wasn't expecting the entire lot, just some
of the ones for vintage software.

There was one I remember for Excel (unfortunately
I don't know the keypress), where you typed
something into one of the cells & you would get
Microsoft Flight Simulator (but that's about all I could
recall).

Requires: Microsoft Excel 97 - Version SR-1 or higher.
Easter Egg: If you received an error while entering the X97:L97 code in EXCEL to try and reach the simulator, try this one for newer versions of EXCEL.

1. On a blank worksheet press F5.
2. In the "Go To" windows enter "r97c12:r97c24"
3. Press enter.
4. Press the TAB key.
5. Hold down Control + Shift.
6. Click the chart wizard tool-bar icon.
7. Have fun and enjoy.

Well unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work, it just
freezed up my Windows System!
