Hi,

I'm currently running auction on ebay for the Aquarius II (boxed),
serial "84". Extremely rare unit!

I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.

And posted in an unusual category - Computers & Electronics > Desktop PCs > 366MHz & Less > Other Chip Types . I have never looked there for vintage stuff before but I see there is quite a bit there. Even if I will never be able to afford your Aquarius II, I thank you for showing me where some more stuff hides out.

(Am i right in that by far the most gets put up on "Computers & Electronics:Desktop Drives & Peripherals:Technology Books & Misc.:Other Hardware:Vintage" ?)

You're correct that the main place for Vintage Computers is the ...Hardware:Vintage category but I've found stuff all over the place. That's one of the reasons you should create and save searches to look for interesting items. I find stuff in the "slow PC" areas, scientific instrument areas and more.

The mis-categorized stuff is often missed by many and, therefore, sometimes sells cheaper.

I am a spoil-sport though and have been known to tell folks that they'll get better exposure in another category. Especially if they appear to be new to eBay.

Oh, so that's where they've hidden all the vintage hardware. I'd have never thought to look for hardware under a "books" category.

Occasionally, when I've been to a second-hand book
store, I'd find old computer software there (mainly
IBM stuff - although I can't remember what other
computer software I've seen there). It's usually been
inside Manuals for the computer software.

Cheers,
CP/M User.
