OMG, Sycor!! I programmed those things for a dataprocessing company around 1976 if I remember right. Man, those things were a bear to program. My boss made big bucks calling those babies up all night, collecting the data. He had a tape drive THAT HAD NO TAKEUP REEL! The tape would just go into a large pile as data was recorded on it. This tape was then taken to the IBM 1130 mini computer for processing. I wrote the machine code subroutines that made the tape drive work also. (hey, think I was underpaid!).
