Burroughs Single-Chip A-series Mainframe Processor

Anyone heard of the SCAMP (Single-Chip A-series Mainframe Processor)? It was developed in the late 80's and is claimed to be as on the tin - a single chip version of the B5000 series machine.

If you know anything about this machine I would love to hear from you.

If that's the same as the SC/MP, the magazine "electronics today (International)" did a data sheet and series of tutorials for it, they also did a centrefold pullout of the PC/MP (paper and cardboard micro-processor) with little counters for bits, for us mere mortals who couldn't afford the dev.kit.
Think it was late 70s?
Sadly the magazine article concerned has long since been turned into hot water.

It is a single chip implementation of the Burroughs A Series, which
is an architectural superset of the B 5000.

There was a long discussion on the classiccmp list about these machines
last year. They were hosted by an OS/2 system.
