Can you Identify this Vintage Microsoft Mouse???

I found this old Microsoft mouse in almost Perfect condition. It is so old that it has a steel (metal) tracking ball underneath. From its box shaped design it seems pretty old to me

Guess the Value??? maybe it's a paperweight? who knows?

Not sure if $400 is a realistic value though. You'd need to look up a couple more auctions through time to get a feeling.
