The chat subsystem seems to be working fairly well. There are one or two folks that have had some difficulties, but it looks like everyone else seems to be getting in fine.
Since it's there, we might as well set up our first chat to get to know each other and really road test the system.
Since I'd like to participate in this one I'll set the time as 8:00 PST since that's just after my son's bed-time. The day I'll leave up to you. (I'll pick the actual date later.)
If you think you might participate please vote in the poll and if you have any topic ideas for this or future chats, please post them in this message.
Also, feel free to set up planned chats of your own whenever you'd like. The system is part of the forums and any registered member is welcome to use it as they want (within the guidelines of the forums themselves.)
