New here, and I just recently took an interest in vintage computers. I own an Apple I (from my uncle), but the next on my list is the one I wanted the most: the Apple ][. I've been looking on eBay, and whatnot, but haven't found any trace of one. Does anybody know of any stores, online or not, that one could probably find an Apple with the following parts:
Original Keyboard
--------- Monitor
Duo Disk Drive
and in working condition.
Thanks.

I got a IIe with a duo floppy drive (I didn't bother with a monitor) on eBay. It wasn't very expensive if I remember correctly. It really depends on whether it has to be a "plain II" or can be a IIe or IIc. Lots of "IIe"s on ebay for almost no money.

Well, I sold off all the ][s I had, but, when you get around to wanting a ][ plus with an external drive, all working, let me know.
Obviously, your uncle didn't realize what a REAL Apple I goes for these days.

Well, my uncle gave it to my other uncle for his pregnant wife's child to use in school, but they ended up divorcing, so he just tossed it to my dad for keeping. That was what...twenty or thirty years ago, I think, so to them it was just a worthless "older computer", rather then a rare, vintage box with a keyboard.
Pics? Let me find my digital camera...erm...let me go into the attic and find the apple.
EDIT
Oh, and I was preferring an Apple ][ (plain old apple ][), but ][e or ][+ WOULD work.
Also, does anybody know a computer one could find without too much difficulty that uses run commands?

 Hi,
The easiest way to get an Apple II if you can't find one to buy is to get a ROM set and swap it into the Apple II Plus. Pretty much, that's the only difference ... the ROMs.
I probably even have a set or two I could sell or trade ...

Hi. There's often times Apple II GSes (more often than not they are Woz-signed ones) on Ebay. I bought one not too long ago... (a regular, non-Woz one). It's a nice machine, but i've run into problems. It boots from disks okay, but I'm negotiating around getting a zip drive and scsi card for it.
If you want a recommendation? www.digitaldinos.com
I'm pretty sure that's the website. :D

How are you set for a set of genuine AppleSoft ROMs for the Apple ][+ ?
Actually, all I need are the F8 and D8 ROMs.

Billdeg. I'll trade you a replica-1 for that ;o)
Tandy400,
Obviously with the offers you know the Apple-1 if it really is one is worth quite a lot. From what I recall the last one that I knew of (a few years ago) at a VCF conference was auctioned off and went for around $10,000. Who knows if that price is static but it's certainly worth a couple thousand if not the above price.
What are you referring to regarding a system that uses "run" commands?
