Hi,

If you send me your NorthStar floppy disks, I will recover the data for you and send it you a CD-ROM you can use on modern computers along with any disks I cannot recover. In return, I will keep any disks I recover your data from.

I am not a professional data recovery service but have been able to recover data on many of my own disks and also for another person. Due to the nature of old floppy disks and data, I make no guarantees but if you have data trapped on old floppies, maybe this will work out for you.

Please contact me for more information. All terms are negotiable so feel free to make an offer for you particular situation.

Thanks!

Andrew Lynch

Hi,
If anyone is interested in recovering their data on NorthStar 10 sector 5.25" hard sector floppy disks, this offer still stands. I just got a MatchPoint PC card so the conversion of NorthStar CP/M disks has gotten a lot easier and quicker.

Please email or PM if interested.

Thanks!

Andrew Lynch

PS, I have converted approximately 100 NorthStar disks already and am in the process of converting another 60 or so. Now is a good time to set something up if you are considering this.

Bump for visibility and update.

OK, I have done a few more people's NorthStar disk data recovery and am getting better at this. After some practice, the process is improving and I am getting more efficient at saving the data even with old disks with lots of errors.

I have done about 250+ disks or so. Everyone's arrangements are different so if you have a need for NorthStar data recovery and have special requirements, please contact me. I would like to work with you on this.

However, as my projects are piling up faster than I can complete them if you are interested in this or know someone who is please contact me soonest so I can do the conversion while the equipment is set up to do it.

Thanks!

Andrew Lynch
