About 5 years ago I bought a Leatherman Wave, as I was on ebay and saw a used one for $25. Since buying it, I've pretty much used it everyday, a lot of times a day. Basically becoming an indispensible tool in my life. Over the last 5 years or so it has gotten pretty beat up, but still not broken. It had some problems, one of the knife blades had gotten bent, both blades were dull. The file was worn down and wouldnt file. The wire cutters had a chunk cracked out of them and the handles were a smidge loose. In passing I've "bragged" about my tool to friends and co-workers, many of whom have went out and gotten one of their own. During a conversation a month ago, somone whom owns a leatherman pocket knife had mentioned that they have a 25 year warranty on their products! I couldnt believe it! I went to their website and read it for myself, awsome great! I send it it, boxed very nicely w/ a note secured to the tool w/ my name and contact info and a description of its problems. Its been almost a month and I just got it back today, I open the package and find a brand new Leatherman Wave Multi-Tool. SCORE! Just thought Id share my good fortune...
